Will my health insurance cover Registered Dietitian services?

Medical nutrition therapy may or may not be provided in your plan. Some plans only cover specific conditions, such as diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney failure, and obesity. For example, Medicare Part B covers visits with a registered dietitian nutritionist when referred by a physician; however, only diabetes and kidney disease are currently covered.

What forms of payment does Queen of Hearts Nutrition take?

Self-pay or medical health insurance. We are considered in-network for Medicare. You are responsible for any copayment or coinsurance at the beginning of your visit. If you have any questions about your coverage, please get in touch with your insurance company.
